Where New York’s Founders Gathered During Tech Week
EchoHer and Paper Popcorn brought founders, operators, and startup leaders together for a week of conversation and connection.
The Story
During New York Tech Week, The Woolworth welcomed founders, operators, and startup leaders for a series of community-led gatherings that turned the 26th floor into a destination for conversation, networking, and collaboration.
EchoHer hosted a major women-founder pitch competition and discussions centered on entrepreneurship, leadership, and expanding opportunities for women and non-binary founders. Paper Popcorn convened founders and career-builders for an intimate business-book gathering designed to encourage authentic dialogue and unexpected connection.
Together, the programs reflected The Woolworth’s growing role as a home for entrepreneurship and innovation in Lower Manhattan — bringing forward-looking communities into a landmark long associated with New York ambition.
“Hosting one of Tech Week’s biggest women founder pitch competitions within one of New York City’s most iconic buildings created a powerful backdrop for bringing together women who are shaping the future of the industry.”— Qianwen Chen, Founder, EchoHer
